Seminar Description
The 1999 BOCA Code had a prioritized enumeration titled,"How to Use the BOCA Code". Use of the guide facilitated the process of architectural design and plan review, while minimizing red-marks and document resubmittals. This three-hour, Building Codes 101 program is targeted to the younger, emerging professional. The presentation will emulate the BOCA Code Guide starting with step one, how the MBC works, and information required on the construction documents, through the key sections of use and occupancy classifications, building height and areas, construction types, egress, to Chapter 34, code choices for existing buildings. All are welcome!
