Presentation Topics:

Designed in BIM: Collaboration on BIM Projects

Presented by Shaun Smith, Hamilton Anderson

You may have heard Bo Schembechler's quote, "The team, the team, the team," but when it comes to BIM, it's even more applicable -- collaboration is where the true power lies. Whether working directly with another person or sharing models with other disciplines, a well-coordinated project requires good planning and strong communication. In this presentation, we will look at several collaborative projects ranging from two office mates up to 75+ people in multi-disciplinary teams as we discuss the key issues in levaraging the power of collaboration effectively.

Technical Presentation: Project Alexandria for Document Management

Presented by Brandon La Courciere, Autodesk Construction Development Team

Technology Segment: DotProduct's DPI-8 Hand-held Scanner

Presented by Ken Dooley, Dot Product

Ken will demonstrate the DPI-8 hand-held scanner which gathers point cloud information in real-time.
