AIA Huron Valley is pleased to host a lunch and learn focused on a review of tile and tile installation products used in exterior applications.


Location: Hobbs and Black Conference Room, NE corner of East Huron and N. State 

Parking: public parking on street or in public garages 

PPE and Other Gear Required: No special gear.

Continuing Education: This tour will be accredited for 1 LU/HSW continuing education credit. Course No. 018, Crossville Inc. (J510)

Learning Objectives:

  • Plan for an exterior installations by evaluating and select installation materials with a focus on the benefits of tile.
  • Recognize and apply the environmental and health benefits tile can bring to an installation as exterior cladding.
  • Apply critical techniques including evaluation and preparing the substrate through various test methods.
  • Problem solve when planning exterior porcelain installations in a vertical and horizontal applications to ensure a successful exterior installation.

Cost: FREE for AIAHV Members, Associate Members and Students, $20 for Non-Members
