The Washtenaw Contractors Association, the Huron Valley Chapter of AIA, and the Christman Company invite members of the WCA and AIA to tour the new addition to the EMU Mark Jefferson Science Building on June 22nd.

The Mark Jefferson project included an 86,000 square foot addition to the existing science building.  New classrooms and lab space are located on the three lower floors and facility offices are on the three upper floors.  The project was constructed to achieve a LEED Silver rating and has many sustainable features.  Of special interest is a 32' diameter sphere that was built in the middle of an atrium, 60' above the floor.  There is not charge to attend.
