The University of Michigan, City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County and the Ann Arbor Public Schools have made carbon neutrality commitments or have specific energy reduction goals. Each institution has made significant progress and seeks to position themselves as leaders among their peers. Each institution will share their goals, an overview of their accomplishments, including at least one case study, and identify the challenges they face. The University of Michigan President’s Commission on Carbon Neutrality is releasing their final recommendations that are a detailed analysis of what it will take to achieve Carbon Neutrality on their three campuses.
